How to Find The Value of a Book by Searching

Once you get your books home you'll be excited to check out the actual value of your books. Here are the best ways that I know of to get an idea of the current market value.

Check past completed auctions on Ebay:

If your going to be selling on ebay you can search past auctions for the same book you are planning on selling. This will allow you to see the prices that others have been able to successfully sell at. This is a very good way to determine the amount to set your price at.

Abe books:

If you go here you can search for your book and view what other sellers are selling the book for.

Amazon:

Do a search on Amazon and determine how much others are selling the same book for.

Setting your selling price:

Your set price is ultimately up to you; however I give the following advice. Be competitive, if someone is selling a similar book at the same time you are, either wait or set your price slightly lower.
